Candidate-reported interview process

There were three interviews in total. After an initial interview, there was a technical interview which covered expertise in the DevOps tools used by the company.

So, I had an HR phone screen, then I interviewed with the hiring manager. After that, there was a take-home technical test. Then, I had a bunch of interviews with people from different teams, like product, sales reps, and customer success. I'm not sure what happens next. The HR person just vanished for a week, and during that time, they advanced another candidate and even gave them an offer. This happened after I'd already spent time on their technical assignment and passed it, and I didn't even get a chance to compete with that person.

I had an intro call with a recruiter, then a technical round with another data engineer. After that, I had another technical round that focused on SQL and a situational interview. The final round was a chat with the manager.
