Candidate-reported interview process

First I talked to the Head Hunter and then I had another stage with the client... they asked me some questions to assess my knowledge. But the whole process was very smooth and fast.

First, you'll send in your resume. Then, there's an initial chat that's not face-to-face. After that, you come in for an in-person interview and we'll ask you to take a test. Once you pass the test and we agree, there's an unpaid probationary period before you're officially hired.

Started with a recruiter call to check fit, which went well. Then had to do a video recording of responses to some questions. It felt impersonal talking to a screen. Waited about 10 days, followed up, and then got moved to a four-hour interview with different people. Heard nothing for two weeks, then got a generic rejection email.
