Candidate-reported interview process

So, even though I have an ECE background, the interview for this software position was really thorough. It kicked off with them asking about how my engineering education connects to software development. Then, we moved onto core Data Structures and Algorithms and a deep dive into my projects from my resume. The whole thing wrapped up with some HR-type questions about my future career ambitions and how I see myself contributing to the company's growth.

It went pretty. Mostly project based questions were asked. A few SQL basic questions and Java fundamentals. Including OOPs concepts were asked. The interviewer seemed a little strict.

The interview process is pretty straightforward. You just need to have a basic understanding of the things mentioned in the job description. Don't overthink it, honestly. That's about all I can share. Three months feels like a long time for this.
