Candidate-reported interview process

The first step was a quick 15-minute phone chat where they asked me some non-technical stuff. They mentioned the next step would be to talk to the hiring manager.

The interview process involved an initial chat with a recruiter, then meeting with floor managers. There was also a personality assessment which was interesting and provided good insights. It all went pretty smoothly. Being shown around the floor and introduced to future colleagues was a nice touch and made me feel welcome.

HR reached out for an initial call about the biofuels and feedstock trading position. I learned that all trading is back-to-back and the firm doesn't own any upstream assets. They're mostly asking behavioral questions because they're hiring for sales-oriented people.
