Candidate-reported interview process

This was a taxing and extensive interview process with no clear indication of what was coming next. The company's responses regarding DEI were unsatisfactory, and they seemed to lack a clear strategy. Be prepared for them to ask for very specific and multiple references. Honestly, it didn't feel like a great experience for diverse candidates.

The person I spoke with had low energy and no passion. Didn't show any interest in getting to know me as a person, other than going through the list of questions.... Additionally, the phone connection kept breaking off, during the questions. Unclear of next steps.

It started with a recruiter call, then there were 2 interviews over 3 weeks, and finally an offer. The process was straightforward with good communication, but dealing with HR for contract specifics was a bit tricky, as it was unclear whether to direct questions to HR or the hiring manager.
