Accretive Technology Software Engineer interviews, decoded.

I went through two technical rounds and then a management round. The technical interviews involved coding and architecture questions. The people interviewing me were really nice and answered my questions about the company.

First a recruiter interview, then a coding assignment. The assignment was open ended and timed (24hrs), with very loose requirements. They also messed up delivering the assignment, and so I had to block out multiple days to accomplish it.

The interview process was quite relaxed and straightforward, primarily assessing cultural alignment. The technical questions were basic, mainly checking for fundamental competence rather than deep problem-solving. The interview itself was short, lasting only 2-3 hours and wasn't stressful. They provided a very fast response the following day. The recruiter was efficient and made the entire experience easy and worry-free.
