It was a very short interview. The recruiter was nice and even agreed to negotiate for a better salary than what was initially offered, which I received. I suspect they don't invest heavily in selection because they can easily let you go if their client isn't satisfied or no longer needs you.
First, there's a phone call where they'll chat about your resume and ask some general questions about your past experience. After that, you'll have another phone call where they'll connect you with a potential employer.
The interview process was a bit different due to covid. It started with a video screening with a recruiter. The questions seemed standard at first, but it felt like they were trying to mislead me. Even though the job was listed as Financial Analyst, the recruiter focused heavily on accounting and filing duties. I was confused if we were discussing the same role. Ultimately, I withdrew my application because there was a significant mismatch in the information provided, and they were attempting to combine three roles into one for an entry-level salary. They need to improve this process.
