Accolade Software Engineer interviews, decoded.

The interview process had 3 steps. First, I had a phone screening interview with a recruiter. Next, I had a phone interview with a manager from a team, and he asked me about my skills and experience. Then, I went in for an on-site interview because I was close by and did a coding assignment with the manager and then talked with some of the employees on the team.

I applied online and then an HR person contacted me about two weeks later. After that, there was a 30-minute technical interview with an engineer. The final stage was a one-hour onsite interview with three engineers. It wasn't until I got to the onsite interview that I realized the position wasn't a good fit for me at all.

I had a phone interview that seemed to go well. Then they set up a 4-hour on-site where I met 4 people from the team. They all seemed nice and said they'd let me know. I tried contacting HR by email and phone several times, but couldn't get through. I had to use 4 hours of PTO from my current job, and they never even told me if I got the job or not.
