Abernathy MacGregor Group Associate interviews, decoded.

We started with an informational chat, then a writing test. It was meant to be two more rounds, but since they were so slow with grading the writing test, they combined the last two rounds into one. HR scheduling and communication was really bad. The interviews weren't too tough, and the writing test took around 3 hours.

It was a long interview process, covering five rounds in total. One of those rounds was a three-hour writing test. Unfortunately, I was rejected after the final round. I repeatedly asked for feedback, but received no response for a long time. When a managing director finally got back to me, the feedback was extremely generic and unhelpful, which was really disappointing after putting in so many hours.

It started with an HR call for preliminary questions about my interest and to explain the role and interview process. Then I had subsequent meetings with employees of assorted levels. They asked standard communication interview questions and were friendly. There was also a writing exam. I would have continued but got a competing offer.
