A recruiter reached out via email about the LDP program. I interviewed, but they didn't mention the program started right after. I had one interview and was rejected the day the program began. My portfolio wasn't reviewed. The questions covered my background, university, and fashion inspiration.
It started with a one-way interview, then a Teams interview which was two 30-minute chats, one with HR and one with a higher-up in the department. After that, there was a 2-day virtual office visit. Day 1 had a retail math test and was mostly informational. Day 2 had 3 interviews. Finally, a 1-day home office visit, which included an office tour, a tour of Columbus, and a team project. All expenses were paid for this visit.
So I interviewed for this role, and they talked about my goals as a designer and looked at some of my projects. I got through two rounds, but after I didn't get in, I felt like they didn't really listen to me or give me a shot because my school isn't one they usually recruit from, which was annoying.
