Applied online. Had an interview over Teams with the APAC HR. Totally unprofessional and no EQ. HR came in with a preconceived mindset, was curt and overbearing. She wasn't even in the least interested in the discussion of the role. More like she's in the place of shooting candidates down than hiring talents. No wonder the role is vacant for so long. If such is the professionalism of Abby's HR, then one can tell how bad (toxic) the culture is. Apply at Your Own Risk!
The interview process started with a recruiter phone screen, initiated through a referral from a current employee. It involved a typical background overview and a high-level discussion of the role. Everything seemed positive, but the recruiter didn't follow up. After four days, I reached out, and the recruiter admitted forgetting to respond. They informed me they were proceeding with other candidates without providing any explanation or feedback. This was a very unprofessional and disappointing way to handle a referral, and I believe they could have handled it much better.
The interview process was straightforward, involving three interviews: one with a recruiter, another with HR, and a final one with the hiring manager. It was a pleasant experience with a friendly atmosphere, though I didn't get a chance to meet the rest of the team.
