Candidate-reported interview process

I went through two interview processes with AAMC, first in Oct 2023 and then again in May 2024. The first time, after four rounds, they passed me over for an internal hire and offered me a call center job, even though I'd made it clear I wasn't interested in that kind of work. It went well otherwise, so I reapplied six months later. This time, I went through four stages again, but the recruiter ghosted me after I followed up. I feel like if you interview someone multiple times, you owe them feedback when they ask.

I had a 30min phone screen first, where they asked about my experience and interest in AAMC. They told me about the company and role, and the manager's personality. Then, there was an interview with the manager and a final round with 4 panelists. They said I was a perfect fit and would advance, but I never heard back.

I applied online and got an email asking for my availability. They didn't respond to my reply for over a week. We scheduled a phone screen, but when I called, they didn't show up. They sent an apology and rescheduled. The interview itself was tough because they were inflexible about a software I didn't know about, which wasn't even mentioned as a requirement. They said I'd hear back in 24 hours. I sent a thank you note, but then heard nothing for weeks.
