Candidate-reported interview process

The interview process included a recruiter call, a technical screen, and a presentation. Candidates were asked about their motivations for pursuing commercial law at A&O Shearman, the essential skills and qualities for success in this field, and to detail a past challenge, including the steps taken and the final outcome.

The interview was online. I was given 40 minutes to read info provided by the firm. Then I had 10-15 minutes to present my findings/answers to the Partner who interviewed me.

It was an assessment center with two interviews. The first was competency and behavioral. The second was a case study, which is really long, so you probably won't finish it. You just need to grasp the main points, and the interviewer will guide you to the important parts during the discussion.
