Candidate-reported interview process

The first interview was a CRM simulation. The second interview was a demo on gotomeeting. I followed the script word for word and after technical difficulties answered questions about the service. It wasn't super difficult but i did not get an offer. I really wanted this job...but I just wasn't what they were looking for. That's ok. It's not the only iron I had in the fire anyway. Not mad or upset. Hoping for the exact right fit for me too.

The interview was a demo sales call, my first time interviewing this way, jumping straight into the job. As a former business owner who knows how hard it is to find good help, I thought it was genius! It was a fair process, and I thought I had an offer due to a miscommunication. A few days later, I got an email saying I wasn't selected. I reached out to 42 Floors and got an email back from the CEO about the miscommunication, saying it would be addressed. That's unusual in business today and shows integrity at 42 Floors starts at the top. If they care that much about someone who interviewed but didn't get the job, I bet you'll be happy if you get hired.

First, I had to do this automated interview thing where I needed to find a lead, write an email, and then do a recorded call to try and make a sale. After that, I had to do a live demo of the 42 Floors product. I thought the presentation went super well and they said it was excellent, and that the hiring manager would get back to me in a few days. But then I just got a rejection letter, which was a bummer.
