I had two panels, each with three people. One person was from HR and the other two were managers. Each interview lasted about 30 minutes. After the interviews, we did a plant tour and I had time to ask more questions.
It's quick, outsourced people get priority over external candidates because they're usually already in the role. Then they schedule an interview, and if you pass, you become a permanent employee. If not, you stay outsourced until another opportunity comes up or your contract ends and you're dismissed.
The interview process involved objective questions, and I felt the two managers conducting it were very well-prepared. I felt comfortable and at ease answering everything they asked. In the end, I left with hope of joining the company, which is what happened.
