Candidate-reported interview process
Had a quick chat with a campus recruiter as part of their Rapid Recruiting program, which aims to hire PhDs or post-docs nearing graduation. The whole process involved 6 interviews, including an on-site "Rapid Recruiting Presentation." We covered ML topics, deep learning ideas, a coding problem, and some behavioral stuff related to culture fit.
The process was fast: I did the technical test and was then called for an interview with the managers. We had a relaxed chat about my experience, projects I've done, and my main contributions.
I first talked to recruiters at my school career fair. Then, I had an on campus interview a couple of days after that. About a month later, I had a phone call with a technical manager and a recruiter. I got the offer on the same day.
