1Password Account Manager interviews, decoded.

I had a recruiter call first, then two more interviews with different managers. The questions were pretty easy and straightforward, and I got asked the same kinds of things in all the interviews. No mock interviews or case studies were involved.

The process took forever. They made me wait almost two weeks after the second interview with the two enterprise hiring managers. While the recruiters were quick and nice, the hiring managers really took their sweet time getting back to me (two weeks) on a Friday. They asked really basic questions that showed they weren't trying to get to know me. When I asked a hiring manager about quota attainment, they totally avoided the question, which makes me think nobody actually hits quota there. All in all, the process was pretty bad because of the long waits, and I wouldn't suggest working in sales here based on the hiring managers I met.

The interview process at 1Password was great. All the steps were clear, friendly, and informative. There was a good mix of questions about my background and experiences, and also time for me to ask them questions.
