Candidate-reported interview process

The role is usually set at a lower level than what the candidate is qualified for when they join. This might make it harder to get promoted or get a salary increase later when talking with managers and HR.

The HR team did a great job overseeing the whole process, making scheduling and everything super smooth. First up was a chat with HR and the hiring manager. Then I met with the team. The final round was a full day Zoom thing back in 2020 where I met eight different people. They asked me to give a 30-minute presentation as part of that last stage.

I had a 1-hour interview that was split between HR and the hiring manager, with each taking 30 minutes. We discussed the company's structure and growth plans, as well as the specifics of the job. The HR person was really helpful and shared a lot about the company culture.
