Candidate-reported interview process

Had an online interview with the hiring manager. The process felt easy, and the manager was very informative about the job description. It did take a while from the interview to the start date, so you'll need patience.

My first interview with the recruiter was great. We clicked on company culture and the company overall. I asked about day-to-day tasks and was told to save that for my 2nd interview. There's a new leader in the department, and she'd be the one to ask about that. In my 2nd interview, the interviewer did most of the talking. She mentioned at the beginning that she preferred a casual, conversational interview style, and then asked me about my formal process for handling employee relations issues. I didn't get to ask my prepared questions and felt rushed off the call. The first interview was good, but the second was confusing, and I didn't hear back about next steps for 3 weeks.

After four rounds of interviews that took 3 months to complete, I got a generic rejection email from a no-reply inbox, which was disappointing considering the time and effort I put into preparing. It even came from a different inbox than the HR rep I had been communicating with. Honestly, this experience made me glad I didn't get the job, as it shows how the company treats its candidates. Just to add to the experience, one interviewer made a dismissive comment about a system on my resume, calling it outdated, even though I'm currently using it at my present job – which made me question their industry knowledge.
