Build Analyst
So first, there was a basic phone interview where they screened me. For that, you really just need to check out their website and know some stuff about the company, and have your resume handy. Then, I had two in-person interviews. One was with the hiring manager, and the other was with someone who was also an intern there. They mainly asked me to discuss my past experiences. We also spent a good amount of time talking about the company's business and how it functions. After I got the offer and accepted it, I had to complete a background check.

QA Automation Engineer
The interview process was straightforward: first, a 30-minute phone interview where I was asked about the company website and my CV. Then, a 1-hour panel interview with team members. Finally, a 30-minute exercise discussion which was a technical interview. The team was really nice, dedicated, and professional, and I felt positive energy throughout. Grateful for the chance.
- Can you describe your past experiences?
- What led to your decision to automate testing?
- How do you go about maintaining test cases?
Sales Manager
The interview process started with Hearst, which was great. After a few interviews with Hearst, I was referred to Zynx. Then I had a few interviews with Zynx, including with the hiring manager, the HR manager, and finally the SVP. Everyone was really genuine and made me feel like I was interviewing to be part of their family rather than just for a job.
- Could you share your personal and professional long-term goals?
Researcher
Everyone was super nice at Zynx. But here's the thing, they never confirmed or denied an offer. Like, at all. Never heard anything, and this was after I flew out to LA to interview. Really disappointed with how unprofessional it all was.
- Can you start by telling us about yourself?
- How do you handle working independently or remotely?
