I had an initial call scheduled with the coordinator. The recruiter was late for it, and I didn't receive any emails from either the recruiter or the coordinator. I tried reaching out to the coordinator, but she didn't respond. The recruiter eventually called about an hour after the scheduled start time.

The interview process started with a phone screen, and then I had an onsite interview. There was a group one-on-one interview where they reviewed my background and work experience. The whole experience was great, and everyone in the department was wonderful. The facility was also beautiful. Even though I didn't get the job, I'd still recommend going through the process.

Zynga hit me up about a recruiter gig. The whole thing went down over three days. Started with a phone screen for about 30 minutes. Then, the next day, I had two 1:1 onsite interviews, each around 30 minutes. The third day was packed with three more 30-minute 1:1 interviews. It was pretty much standard stuff: they went over my resume and asked behavioral questions like 'tell me about a time when....' or 'what about if 'x' happens...'. Things started off okay, but then it got a bit weird. One interviewer kept getting interrupted by phone calls and actually talking on them during our chat. Another interview was with a recruiting coordinator who seemed more focused on telling me what kind of support he *wouldn't* give me, and he kept harping on how fast-paced Zynga is. He even dropped some serious profanity, saying his day was already messed up less than an hour in. Seriously, he cursed multiple times. They said there'd be a break before my last interview, but what was supposed to be 15-20 minutes turned into me waiting around for a whole hour. The senior hiring manager gave the weakest apology for that. The next afternoon, the recruiter who first contacted me called to say they were going with someone who had more direct experience. Maybe that's the real reason, or maybe it was a culture fit thing. You never know for sure, but honestly, I wasn't bummed about not getting the job.
