First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Zurich Insurance.
Project Manager Intern
It was a super chill vibe. I had two chats in a week, one with the person who would be my manager and another with HR. Both were online. They asked me to do a general presentation and then asked some behavioral questions. The team was great at explaining what the job was about and what they were looking for.
- On a scale of 1 to 10, what do you think your qualification level is for this role?
Project Manager
The interview is just for eyewash. All the positions are filled internally based on recommendations and are very biased, so it's just a waste of time and better not to apply for any position.
- Could you please introduce yourself?
- Can you describe a challenging situation you faced?
- What are the PMBOK processes you are familiar with?
Project Manager
The interview process was very thorough and professional, with a deep dive into PM skills and how I'd handle specific situations. It included standard questions about my strengths, weaknesses, difficult projects, and how I'd approach saving a failing project. The interviews were conducted virtually because of COVID.
- Could you tell me about your strengths as a Project Manager?
- What are your weaknesses as a PM?
- Can you describe a challenging project you managed?
