First there was a chat with HR, after they confirmed my interest in the role, there were two technical interviews. The first technical interview was more relaxed, talking about technologies I knew, what I wanted for my career and stuff like that. The second interview was with the team I would be working with, where they asked various technical questions about testing and technology, and presented some problem situations and how I would solve them. Overall it was a great selection process, very fast and objective.
- How is the test pyramid defined?
- How would you solve the problem of consuming an external API that went offline?
- How would you approach a teammate who is not doing their job correctly?

The HR recruitment process was fine, nothing to complain about. However, the technical interview was one unpreparedness after another. When I told the interviewers I wasn't comfortable with their interview method, they insisted on their way, making the situation more uncomfortable and asking random questions during the technical test. Meanwhile, the interviewers were laughing about their conversations and saying it was their first time doing that method and that I was a test for them. I really liked the company and always wanted to join, but after what they put me through, I just gave up on the company. If the interviewers are like this, I can't imagine the day-to-day. I was simply sad about everything that happened and hope it doesn't happen to other candidates.

The process was okay, I went through all the stages and at first, it seemed like everything was going well. The problem was when I got to the final stage (technical interview). They hadn't sent any feedback... I only found out because I went to the recruiter to ask, and when she answered me, she said I passed the technical stage but the position had been frozen and they needed to schedule with the client. It was confusing for me, as I didn't know if they would call for the job after this scheduling or not. As she had given me an approximate date for when they would schedule with the client, I decided to send a message to ask about it and see if the job was still available... But unfortunately, she never replied again.
- Tell me about your professional experience.
- Do your views on security align with the company's culture?
- Can you explain what XPath is?
