First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Zuora.
Sales Engineer
I had a phone screen with the recruiter, then interviewed with the hiring manager. The final step was an onsite at Zuora to meet with sales leadership and members of the sales engineering team, which included a product demonstration. The whole process was very well coordinated.

Sales Engineer
Since I was referred to Zuora, I skipped the initial resume review. This was great because I got to talk with the hiring manager right away to see if we were a good fit. Over the next few weeks, I had a bunch of calls, interviews, and meetings. I even took a couple of trips to SF for the Subscribed event and spent a day interviewing at their HQ. Zuora was really accommodating with my schedule and worked around some existing events I had planned. Overall, the process was pretty straightforward and a positive experience. I'm happy I made the switch.
- What's your understanding of Zuora's business, its purpose, and its operational methods?
Sales Engineer
I got a job offer from Zuora and I'm excited to start in a few weeks! The interview process was really comprehensive. Everyone I met seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me, my background, and how I'd fit into the Zuora culture. I found the interviewers to be engaging, personable, smart, and passionate. I thought each interview was very thorough, which I liked – I want to work for a company that screens candidates professionally and inquisitively. They asked a mix of questions, from technical/application architecture stuff like "tell me about your current product architecture and how you describe it to a prospect" to personality and past decisions questions like "What would you consider your biggest failures/frustrations in your career". Overall, the process was smooth, and everyone at Zuora, from the scheduling person to the interviewers, was friendly, passionate, intelligent, and articulate. I'm thrilled to be joining a company with such great people, technology, and opportunities!
- What's your reason for leaving your current job?
