The process was quite thorough, involving interviews with several managers from different teams. They wanted to check my skills, experience, and capability, but also see if I'd fit the culture and if I was engaged and energetic. We talked about my past work, but also about what I could contribute to Zuora. Both my experience and how I can contribute are important for their decision.

My initial contact with Zuora was a direct message on LinkedIn asking if they could hire me. The whole interview process was top-notch! I interviewed with the Executive Recruiter, VP, SVPs, and even the CEO/co-founder. The interviews felt relevant, informative, and supportive. The VP of Talent was involved in everything, making sure no details were missed. They followed up promptly and encouragingly after each interview. I felt like a VIP throughout the entire process, at every level, and during each interview. Everyone I met treated me with the utmost respect, kindness, and professionalism, including the receptionist and executive admin. After every interview, I was even more convinced that Zuora was a company where I wanted to work and contribute to their success. It felt like a team of professionals I could learn from. Everyone at Zuora is friendly, passionate, professional, articulate, kind, energetic, respectful, and they make you feel valued for your skills and experience. Overall, the interview experience was outstanding, easily the best I've had in my career!

A recruiter from Zuora reached out to me on LinkedIn in September. We had a great first chat about the Enterprise EM position, and he was really impressive with the company details and role. Though the interview with the hiring manager went well, he felt I wasn't the best fit for Enterprise but a better fit for the Commercial EM role. The recruiter agreed, but mentioned the Commercial Team's opening wasn't until late January. I confirmed this timeline worked for me, so he set up an interview with the Commercial Team's hiring manager. He prepped me beforehand, which was super helpful. That interview also went great. From November to January, the recruiter kept me updated. In late January, he shared that the Commercial Team was excited and the only remaining step was an interview with the CEO. He prepped me again a few days before that call, giving me some really useful insights. My call with the CEO was fantastic. The next day, I talked to the recruiter, and he'd heard good things too, saying I should expect an offer in a few days. I got the official offer the following Monday, which was surprisingly generous, largely thanks to the recruiter's help. It was an easy decision. Honestly, it was the best recruiting experience I've ever had.
