A recruiter called to get to know the candidate better. The negative point is that the call was not scheduled, and some questions needed preparation, such as why the candidate decided to apply for Zuora.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process began with a Hiring Manager interview, followed by a second interview with the Hiring Manager. Then, there was a panel interview that included a presentation. The final stage was an interview with the Global Head of Customer Success. The recruiter managed the whole process. The process itself was fine, but the recruiter was quite strange, causing delays in scheduling and never providing formal feedback. Despite multiple follow-ups for feedback, nothing was received. She'd text me personally with promises of detailed notes, but ignored emails requesting them. The Hiring Manager did mention the team liked me and my presentation went well, but didn't explain why things didn't work out. I'm very disappointed with the Recruiter and the lack of feedback.

Started with a recruiter call, then talked to the hiring manager. Had an on-site interview with the team, and then another on-site to meet the hiring manager and their manager. The whole thing was pretty straightforward. Everyone involved was professional and nice to talk to. The hiring manager was happy to answer more questions via email or call and I didn't feel like I was bothering them.

  • Describe how you would manage a situation where a customer is unhappy about something.
