So it was a 3 stage process. First I spoke with the Head of Sales, then I had a chat with a Senior AE, and the final interview was a task-based one with the Head of Sales and the CRO. This last one gave a pretty good picture of the day-to-day.

I was contacted about a new position because I had applied there before. We had a friendly call and I was given some homework, described as a test to gauge my current skill level with no right or wrong answers. I submitted working code. After submission, I received an automated rejection message. I was surprised and asked for feedback, but received none. I followed up a week later for more information, but still no response. While I don't mind not getting the job, it's frustrating when a test is presented as a way to see where someone is at, but then they don't actually seem to evaluate it that way. If a lot of effort is requested, at least a response should be provided. This lack of basic respect led me to leave a negative review.

Submitted an online application that was pretty detailed and had some really interesting questions. Got a fast response and was invited for a Skype interview with HR. It was only 20 minutes, but it felt like a lot was covered. Many questions seemed more fitting for a later stage, but it was okay. The interviewer kept saying 'just one more question,' making me think it was ending, but it went on longer. That 'one more question' turned into a few more. At the end, they outlined the next steps: a take-home exercise, and then an in-person interview. I didn't get an offer, which was fine, but I also didn't get any feedback when I asked. They just said they had too many applications for that. Overall, the interview process felt efficient.

The company seems to be looking for top talent at a low cost. However, their hiring process was disorganized from beginning to end. They didn't provide any salary details, and the job title changed a few times. They also canceled interviews at the last minute with short notice and cited 'changes to the recruitment process.' I had to complete an assessment twice because they couldn't coordinate properly to realize I'd already done it. To make matters worse, after I went through all the trouble for the initial position, the hiring manager didn't respond to me. While I shouldn't have to chase them, I did, and they ignored me. It's a disorganized company that wants cheap labor and tries to pressure candidates without offering much in return. If you want to work with the best companies and have the best employees, you need to get your act together and make your recruitment process smoother. The entire experience was a mess. I was offered the job but declined because they annoyed me too much by that point. Avoid them.
