First, I had a call with the recruiter. Then, I interviewed with the hiring manager. If that interview went well, I would have made it to the final stage. I felt the interviewer wasn't really interested in getting to know me as a person or what I could bring to the job. Most of the questions were about whether I knew what SaaS is, how value is measured, and what KPIs are. It was tough to connect with the hiring manager because he was reading from a script, and since he had just joined the company, I don't think he even knows ZoomInfo's culture himself. He also interrupted me a few times while I was answering his questions, which can definitely throw someone off.

Started with a recruiter call via employee referral who seemed to think I was a good fit. Definitely have a salary range ready for this call. Next was a Cognitive test, the predictive index one, not the personality one. It's 12 minutes long with 50 math word problems. Definitely practice beforehand, 12 Min Prep is a good free resource. Then had a 30 min interview with the hiring manager. He seemed uninterested and distracted. He said they'd let me know about next steps. I sent a thank you note to him and followed up with the recruiter when I didn't hear back. They ghosted me, which is unprofessional for a company their size. This seems to be standard for ZoomInfo based on other experiences. I would look elsewhere for companies that are better run.

I applied, excited by the company's growth and proximity. Nicole, the recruiter, called the next day with preliminary questions about office presence and Salesforce experience. We scheduled a more formal call for the following day, covering basic interview questions and benefits. She offered advice for upcoming interviews, leaving me enthusiastic. I then took an IQ assessment and received confirmation of passing within minutes. My next interview was a week later, on a Friday afternoon, with my future manager. Nicole contacted me 20 minutes post-interview to schedule another for Monday morning with a different leader. A quick conversation later, Nicole reached out again to arrange the final interview for that same day. They operate at high speed! A verbal offer was extended during the final interview, with paperwork finalized by end of day. The process was rapid, allowing me to interact with individuals from sales, tech, and marketing, gaining diverse job insights.
