Account Manager
The recruiter first seemed really nice and helpful, which set a good tone. But then, things went downhill. They mentioned salary and timeline expectations early on, but these weren't met. Communication was spotty, and I had to chase them often just to get things moving. I was initially told it would be a three-stage process, but it turned out to be five. Interviews were also moved around a bunch, making it seem unorganized and poorly handled. Because of the ongoing disorganization and lack of clear communication, I decided to stop the process. A hiring experience should give you a feel for how a company works internally and the professionalism you can expect. My experience didn't really show that. It's not just about getting the job, but also how a company presents its culture and the skills of its employees during hiring.
- Could you describe your typical sales process?
Account Manager
The interview process was great thanks to the phenomenal recruiter, McKenzie Menacho, that I worked with! She was very transparent, helpful, kind, and made the process straightforward and seamless. While I opted to move forward with another opportunity before completing the final interview it was a difficult decision because Zoominfo is making some really cool products and everyone I spoke with seemed great to work with and very knowledgeable. I would definitely suggest interviewing with Zoominfo based on my experience.
- Were all the questions asked relevant to the role and the company?
Account Manager
I had a great experience with the ZoomInfo interview process for the Account Manager role. McKenzie Menacho was incredibly thorough, proactive, and professional from start to finish. She laid out the full process clearly from the beginning and followed it exactly as described, which made everything feel smooth and transparent. McKenzie was a great point of contact — super responsive, always available to answer questions, and acted as a true partner throughout the process. The pacing was just right, and I felt supported and well-prepared at every stage thanks to her guidance and communication.
