I checked out the team on ZoomInfo, and it gave me an idea if I'd be chosen. My first interview with HR was a bit weird. The recruiter seemed rude and rushed the call. I didn't hear back for two weeks until their colleague contacted me to set up the next round with two managers. To be honest, it was the worst interview experience ever. Both managers appeared uninterested from the moment they joined, and one was even 10 minutes late without a word. It felt like they just wanted to finish it quickly, which made me feel really uncomfortable from the beginning. I get that work can be hectic, but I would have appreciated knowing what was going on or having the call rescheduled instead of feeling like I was interrupting them. It's a great company with awesome products, and I can totally see why businesses buy them, but the whole interview left a really bad taste.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was super easy. It involved 3 meetings: a phone screen and then 2 Zoom calls. This all happened over 3 weeks. First, I had a phone screen with Heather Campbell, who was really organized and clearly explained what to expect. Then, I had a Zoom call with a sales manager to talk about my background and why I wanted to join the company. Lastly, I had another 30-minute Zoom call with a sales director where we had a similar chat, and then I did a mock pitch for him and the sales manager. It all felt very smooth, and I always knew what was next. Heather made it great by setting expectations early and keeping in touch until my offer was finalized.

Started with an assessment, then a recruiter called. The recruiter's accent was hard to understand, and the call was only 5 minutes. After scheduling the interview with the sales manager, the recruiter went silent. The sales manager interview was pleasant, but they emphasized the role is a 'grind' requiring 50+ hours weekly for success. They have new hire training every two weeks, suggesting high volume and turnover. While it seems like a good company, work-life balance appears to be an issue. A generic rejection email arrived from a noreply@zoominfo address, which is disappointing as some individuals prefer feedback.
