Sales Operations
I applied online and my status changed to 'Interviewing' the next day. The recruiter took about 2 to 2.5 weeks to reach out. The initial recruiter screen was great; they focused on culture fit, were really open about the company, the job, and pay. There were three more rounds with the hiring manager, a peer manager from another department, and the hiring manager's boss. These interviews felt more like conversations than strict Q&As. The whole process, from the recruiter screen to the final interview, happened within 8 business days. I got a verbal offer on the third business day after the last interview, and the official offer letter came a few hours after I accepted verbally.
- We're trying to achieve X at Zoom, can you describe how you've accomplished something similar at your current or former company?
- What 3 adjectives would you say best describe your personality?
Sales
First, there was a call about the path, experiences and skills related to the job. Then, a Sales Manager talked about sales skills. Finally, a Sales Manager and the VP France worked on a use case.
- Can you walk me through your background and skills as they relate to this position?
- As a Sales Manager, what are your key sales competencies?
- Let's go through a use case scenario with the Sales Manager and the VP France.
Sales
I went through 4 interviews over about two weeks. First, there was a recruiter call, and then three more interviews with different people on the sales team. The interviews themselves were pretty standard. My main issue was with the recruiters and how long it took to get a final decision after my last interview, almost a month. The recruiter kept saying I was a top candidate and that a decision was coming soon, which didn't help.
- Can you explain how you would divide up your book of business?
