Business Development Representative
After getting a referral from a LinkedIn contact, I had my first call with the recruiter. For the first 10 minutes of our 30-minute call, the recruiter just read through the job description and my resume without looking at me. Then, the recruiter started suggesting other companies hiring for similar roles, acting like I wasn't interviewing for a job I really wanted. The recruiter didn't ask me anything about myself, so I tried to lead the conversation. I prepped a lot for this interview, even talking to a current BDR for insights, but felt let down by the poor recruiter screening, especially from a company like Zoom. I expected a much better experience.

Business Development Representative
This was a long process, taking about 4-5 weeks. You need to be proactive and follow up after applying, otherwise it takes even longer. Communication wasn't the smoothest, and there was no feedback after the final interviews. The people were friendly, and the interviews were pretty standard compared to other companies.

Business Development Representative
This was an amazing interview process. Out of over 20 interviews I've had, this is the only one where they called me back to give me valuable feedback. I'm bummed I didn't get the job because this seems like a company that actually cares. Also, the hiring manager commented on my portfolio, which has never happened before. The interview felt like I was talking to a friend, she was so engaged and wanted to hear what I had to say.
