The process was really friendly! They followed up on a subtitling task I had to do prior. The questions were mainly about my experience, aside from questions about what I get up to in my free time etc. It felt more like a chat than an interview.

The interview process was pretty quick and easy, no long assessments or multiple stages. It felt relaxed and friendly, which was nice. They didn't ask for a presentation or any technical tasks. It was more like chatting than a formal interview.

The office environment felt warm and welcoming, and the staff were polite and respectful. The interview questions were challenging, but in a good way that helped me show my skills. The office itself is comfortable, nice, clean, and modern. It's located right in the heart of Sheffield City Centre, with lots of lunch options nearby. If they offered the right salary and parking, it would be pretty much perfect!

Found out about this company while searching for jobs matching my subtitling background. Applied a few times before hearing back for an in-person interview. Met with two people who were interested in my experience but didn't seem very welcoming. Later received a lengthy written test to assess my work quality and attention to detail, which was straightforward. I scanned and emailed it back. Didn't hear anything after, even with a follow-up email two weeks later. It seems unprofessional to not provide feedback after a candidate completes a test, whether it's to inform them about the next steps, that someone else was hired, or that the position is no longer available. This experience made me question their respect for potential and possibly current employees, which is a shame given the specialized nature of this work and the limited number of companies in this field, potentially leading to future collaborations.
