The interviewer asked a lot of questions about my teaching style and past experiences. It was a pretty standard interview, not too difficult. After the interview, I was given a form to complete with my references. I ended up taking another job.

The process starts with an application they manage, where you have to complete personal information and then upload a video. After that, you schedule an interview. They urgently needed a teacher to cover a group, so right after the HR interview, I had an interview with the director that same day. She mentioned there would be training, which didn't happen, but instead, I was told that classes started that very day. That was it.

I applied online and got a call back pretty quickly. Then, there was a group interview with around 12 people, and they only advanced about 4 of us to the next round. I was called in for a second interview at 2:00pm. It was pretty frustrating because I had to wait almost 25 minutes after arriving. They had me sign a bunch of hiring papers, which felt premature. They said I'd hear back in a few days if I got the job, but I never did. It's a shame they couldn't be bothered to let candidates know they weren't selected, especially after making us go through that whole process and wait so long, for a job that doesn't even pay well.

Reached out to the company via phone to get the hiring manager's contact information. Sent my resume and got a quick reply within 2-3 days. HR called to ask some basic questions and scheduled an interview for that same week. They also emailed a lengthy document to complete before the interview. I interviewed with the Academic Director. A few days later, HR informed me I wasn't hired. I questioned why they made me complete the hiring paperwork if they were unsure about hiring me and also commented on the low teacher pay ($17/hr), stating it's insufficient for the workload and likely impacts the quality of staff hired, noting my experience and MA in TESOL didn't warrant better pay.
