First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Zollner.
Master Thesis Student
The interview process was straightforward and consisted of basic questions. I was anticipating a second interview with the technical team, but unfortunately, I was rejected with the explanation that they couldn't offer me the preferred thesis position.
- Could you tell me about your background and why you changed degrees?
- Can you discuss your Bachelor's thesis?
HR Manager
CORONA! The interview was conducted via webcam. The contact person was very friendly and accommodating. It started on time and lasted about 1.25 hours. A lot of information was exchanged. The Human Resource Management Recruiting (HRSR) and the "manager" responsible for the position were present.
- What tasks do you imagine for yourself in this position?
- Do you plan to stay longer or just use the position/company as a "stepping stone"?
- How did you find out about us?
Engineer
First, a brief personal introduction (Tell us about yourself). Then, specific questions about the job (What might your daily work look like?). Afterwards, questions about personal strengths and weaknesses. Then, there was time for your own questions. Overall, it was a friendly conversation.
- Name and explain your three greatest strengths.
Quality Assurance
It was okay. I started with a short test, followed by an Excel test that took about 30 minutes. Then, I had a brief chat with the unit leader where we covered typical interview topics like speaking about myself, why I applied here, and my experience.
- Can you tell me about your previous roles?
- What's your background and experience like?
