ZocDoc recruiters reached out multiple times with info about the company. After I responded, I spoke with a recruiter who seemed distracted and put me on hold a lot. First, there's a personality and math/English test you have to complete. Then, they do Skype interviews from NY, looking for top candidates. The interviewer was fine but didn't introduce themselves. They barely asked about me and then asked what questions I had. I asked a bunch, and some got answered. They seemed rushed, trying to fit in as many interviews as possible. They said they'd contact the strongest reps to come to NY later. The job requires making 4 sales a week (reps supposedly make 5-15), with an average of 105-150K (40k base). Benefits include stock options, laptop, Blackberry, dental, and medical. They also fly reps to NY quarterly for training.

I had 2 initial calls from the recruiter, but I was hesitant at first because of some reviews. After looking into the company more, I didn't want to pass up the chance. So, I spoke with the recruiter, and she arranged for a personality test and a Skype interview. I had another Skype call with a different recruiter, and then they flew me out for an in-person interview. I met with four people there. The questions were challenging, really probing my career decisions and emphasizing how demanding the role is. I really wanted the job afterward. I suspect some of the negative reviews might come from people who didn't get the job. After I got back home, I received an email asking me to meet the hiring manager in person in my city, which I did. I got an offer the very next day. I think their selectivity shows they're building a strong team.

Had five interviews for a telemarketer role, by people who have zero sales experience. First, a phone interview by a recruiter who had no idea what I was talking about from a real estate background. Then, four face-to-face interviews by so-called sales managers "HR people" who had no idea about any basic real estate sales experience I was explaining to them. I ignored the other comments on this site before heading in, but the negative is all true. It's a straight-up boiler room call center. No one has worked here for more than two months - not managers, callers, or recruiters. I'm going to use this job to get another.
