First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ziosk.
Technical Account Manager
We had an initial screener from the recruiter. The first half of the process moved fast, but the final round involves coming into the office for about five hours for four or five more interviews. I get why they want to do something in person, but expecting a four to five hour in-person interview as the final round is totally wild.
- How have you handled delivering negative news to a client in the past?
Product Manager
It was a really nice interview experience. Typically there are 3-4 rounds with a lot of behavioral questions asked. The interview is heavily based on your resume. Guessestimate questions can be tricky, and you need to prepare for technical questions.
- They asked guessestimate questions.
Production Artist
Recruiting was great, they got back to me fast and kept me in the loop about how the interview process was going. Communication was easy. I went through a few interview stages. The team was super friendly, welcoming, and really talented. You can tell they're experts in what they do and can quickly figure out your skill level. The interview was pretty open, and they answered all my questions honestly.
- Can you describe your proficiency and skill level with relevant software?
- What's your approach to revising or re-doing work that originated from another artist?
- How do you plan to contribute your unique personality and overall skillset to the team?
Writer
The company seemed like a startup when I got there. Someone had to ask who I was seeing. The questions were standard stuff about writing and trivia games. Then they had me write out questions twice, which was unexpected. Usually, they tell you about a skills test beforehand.
- Are you married?
- Do you have children?
