First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Zimmerman Advertising.
Account Coordinator
The interview process at Zimmerman Advertising was smooth, professional, and welcoming. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and made me feel comfortable. The questions were relevant and focused on both my experience and personality. Overall, it was a positive experience that made me excited to join the team.
- How do you manage your time and stay organized with several projects going on at once?
Account Coordinator
I went to Zimmerman and asked about openings and if I could talk to someone. A talent acquisition specialist came out, and we talked about my background, what department I wanted to join, and why I was interested in the company. We swapped contact info, and they called a few days later to set up a formal interview. They told me who I'd meet and asked me to research some things. The interview had three people from the account services team who worked on the account I'd be joining. Each person interviewed me for about 10 minutes, asking about my background, skills, experiences, and future goals. A few days after the interview, I got an offer, which I accepted.
- What position did you play in football?
Account Coordinator
I applied and got a call later that week for a phone screening to set up my interview availability. They asked about my experience, went over the job description, salary, and what they were looking for. The HR coordinator gave me tips on what to research and sent over the job description and names of the interviewers. They offer valet parking which is nice. When I got there, she met me and went over my questions. She gave me a rundown of the interviewers and their question styles. I met with 3 people. The first asked simple questions about my past experiences and the role. The second was more conversational. The third asked tougher, scenario-based questions and talked about her growth in the company. After, the HR coordinator gave me a tour and told me about company events. The interview took about 1.5-2 hours. She said I'd hear back by Monday and I got the offer about 10 days later.
- What qualities do you look for in a supervisor?
- Can you share a personal and a professional accomplishment not listed on your resume?
- How would you handle a team member who isn't cooperating, and what steps would you take if the issue persisted?
