First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Zimmer Communications.
Social Media Specialist
I did a project to show what I can do and then had a formal interview with the Manager and the team. I ended up getting another position but I was close between these two and loved them. Would’ve worked with them if I didn’t make more at the other company.
- What are your methods for continuous self-improvement?
Sales Executive
I talked to a recruiter and it was nice. Zimmer is known locally and I already had them saved. This was one of my first interviews here and I was looking forward to it. Then I went on-site to talk to the Sales Director, and then I had to give a sales pitch to the Sales Director and General Manager. They were both really nice and seemed eager to hire. It's probably not hard for an experienced Account Executive. But I declined because I'm used to a bigger market and making a lot of money, and it didn't seem realistic to hit my goals quickly here. I'd basically be starting from scratch. Their digital stuff also seemed pretty new compared to agencies I've worked with. It would be good for someone local who knows the market or is more entry-level, to learn from a good company, but it wasn't the right fit for me.
- What are your typical interview and sales questions?
Operations Assistant
I had two interviews, the first with the Sales Manager and the second one included the CMO. It was a really thorough process to make sure I was a good fit for the company and that they were a good fit for me too. They explained the position really well and let me ask tons of questions.
- How do you manage working under pressure?
- When you're working on a project and a rush order comes in, how do you organize your time?
