Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Zimmer Biomet.
Sales Associate
It was a pretty quick and straightforward interview process. They asked the typical interview questions, like times you've been told no, why you're interested in this company/role, how you keep yourself organized, and how you stay motivated.
- What makes you want this job?
- Why did you choose sales?
- Do you set goals for yourself?
Sales Associate
The first three interviews were seamless and happened back to back. It was a company I had admired, but never got contacted about a fourth interview. When I contacted the company to follow up I got a run around response. I got responses that I was a strong candidate and the recruiter said my interview went very well. Then, when the deadline passed for making a decision radio silence. Every other company had the respect to let me know I wasn't moving forward. This company is unorganized and unprofessional to not have the decency to inform candidates and will keep you hanging for months.
- Can you try to sell me a pen?
Sales Associate
It was conversational and they wanted to hear about my sales results. They were interested in my OR and sterility experiences and asked if I could communicate effectively with surgeons and OR staff. They also asked if I enjoy putting puzzles together and cleaning up trays/inventory.
- Can you introduce yourself and explain how your background aligns with this role?
