First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Zimmer Biomet.
IT Analyst
Applied in July. Got an email to set up an interview with the IT Director. The interview went well. Got invited to set up an interview with an Analyst. That interview also went well. After 4 weeks, they called and asked if I'd work for another location and come in for face-to-face interviews. They changed the schedule on me at the last minute, making it look like I didn't have the correct schedule. The HR manager couldn't answer my questions. I think she got offended. Everyone else was great; the HR manager just wasn't engaged, didn't seem to care, and had no personality.
- What is your motivation for applying to Zimmer?
Business Analyst
I applied and a recruiter reached out in a few days to schedule her initial screening. It was the usual questions. Then, she scheduled another meeting with the manager for the next week. That interview focused on the job itself, the team's needs, and my fit. I sent follow-ups and heard nothing for 2-3 weeks. The recruiter then asked for my availability to come in, which seemed late. I sent times but never heard back until I got the standard rejection email.
- Can you describe your SQL experience?
Business Analyst
I had a 45 minute virtual interview with the hiring manager. The goal was to go over my past work experience and resume to make sure my background and skills fit what they're looking for in this job.
- Could you elaborate on your professional background and how it aligns with your resume?
- Do you believe your experience and understanding are a good match for the position's needs?
- Have you worked with the specific software and tools required for this role?
