The interview process was okay. The people were nice. They didn't confirm many details about the job, but mostly asked about me. The interview felt like it went a bit too well. I got an offer eventually. After accepting, I regretted it immediately. The job wasn't like it was described. I haven't had a good experience since. The organization is a mess.

First, there was a call with HR to check my background. Then, I talked to the hiring manager. They asked me technical questions to see if I knew my stuff and if I'd be a good fit for the company. Sadly, they decided not to move forward, but they didn't give me any reason why. My advice: if you want people to interview with you, at least give them feedback.

So, the first part was meeting the Engineering VP. It was just a chat about how we do things at the company regarding development processes and practices. Then, there was a live coding interview where I had to solve problems like binary sort and some matrix task. The third round involved a quick, easy backend API task that I had to complete on my own within 30 minutes, and then present my solution.

The hiring process took about two months. I talked with pretty much everyone in the department. They ended up hiring someone with more industry experience, which I thought was weird given how long it took them to figure that out. If I'd known it would take this long, I wouldn't have put in so much time.
