First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Zhang & Associates.
Legal Assistant
I emailed a partner expressing my interest and attaching my resume. The partner's assistant then reached out to schedule an interview. I went to the office for an interview with four people: the partner and three attorneys. The partner interviewed first, asking general questions, and didn't seem very engaged with my responses. A subsequent attorney asked more specific questions. The last two attorneys seemed satisfied with me but mentioned the partner would make the final decision.
- An interviewer suggested a preference for candidates with a different background than mine, and I was unsure how to reply.
Legal Assistant
I applied online at Craigslist, and was asked for an interview about a week later. I was told I would hear back within 2 weeks after the initial interview, and after several follow up emails, never heard from them again. Very unprofessional process.
- What is your greatest strength?
Staff Accountant
It was a pleasant interview, the interviewer was humorous and relaxed. Some tough questions were asked, but overall it was a smooth process. I'd suggest new hires to stay relaxed.
- Can you tell me about your greatest weakness?
