First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ZEROREZ Carpet Cleaning.
Talent Acquisition Manager
Had a 45 minute initial phone screen with a member of the Sr. Leadership team. Then, there was an in-person interview with the COO and other team members. They gave an overview of the organization, talked about goals and strategy, and the "Good, Bad, Ugly" of the organization. We discussed the company Core Values and how the position involves them. The COO took me on a tour of the facility and described operations for each department. I had plenty of time to ask questions and talk about the opportunity. It was less formal than most interviews, and a lot more informative/interactive.
- What are your goals/ambitions, and how do you plan to achieve them?
Carpet Technician
I sent in my resume, and they scheduled an interview. I arrived about 10 minutes early for my interview, but the HR/Hiring Manager seemed to have forgotten I was coming. The interview itself was pretty basic and felt like it went really well. After returning home, I completed a personality assessment, but I never heard back from Zerorez. I attempted to follow up a few days later, but I had trouble reaching the HR representative. I left a message, but again, no response.
- Can you tell me about your driving record?
- Have you had any issues with drug use in the past?
Customer Service Representative
It was a really long and tough interview process for this small business, felt super extensive. Started with a phone screen, then a video interview, followed by a reference check where they actually asked for a recommendation letter. After that, I had to complete an hour-long assessment they sent. Finally, there was a second phone interview. They really dug deep with way more questions than I've ever faced before. Even though I nailed everything and was definitely overqualified, I didn't get the job. Honestly felt like a total waste of my time.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Carpet Technician
It was a really relaxed interview, and everyone seemed genuinely invested in the company's success. They were flexible with scheduling and considerate of personal needs, making it feel like a family-oriented workplace.
- Could you please state your name?
- What is your availability regarding your work schedule?
- What times are you available to work?
