First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ZeOmega.
Software Engineer Intern
There were 3 rounds in total for the SDE-intern role. First was a virtual assessment round which had 1 Python coding question, 2 SQL questions, and some MCQs about Python and JavaScript. Then there was an in-person technical interview. Finally, there was an HR round.
- Questions about Python specifics like lists, sets, and tuples, and other basic concepts.
- Queries related to MySQL, including different types of joins.
- Questions concerning Operating Systems and common Git commands.
Software Development Engineer
They started with an online test on the first day. The next day, I had a technical interview. They mentioned two technical rounds, but only one happened after the online test. Two interviewers started asking questions without even letting me introduce myself. They would ask a question before I finished answering the previous one, which was confusing. They laughed and made fun when I couldn't answer. They repeated questions and didn't try to understand my explanations. After the interview, they didn't provide an update within the promised two days. It felt like a waste of my leave and travel time. If management doesn't have enough time for interviews, they shouldn't call candidates.
- Did they ask some tricky questions?
Software Developer
It was a 2 round interview process, then an HR discussion. The first technical round was with a Tech Lead who had less experience than me. He asked questions about GIT and Python, and seemed to judge based on my confidence. The second technical round was with a good dev manager who asked about Data Structures, Algorithms, Python, and Math problem solving.
