Behavioral Technical

I had one interview with a senior employee. They mainly asked me behavioral questions, but also wanted to check if I had technical knowledge. For example, they asked about the projects I've worked on and if I'd taken the initiative to work on any myself, and why and how. They also asked what I liked about the work I did. Then they assessed my soft skills, like how I handle stress and difficult situations with teammates. It was pretty much a check on my personality and my speaking and performance skills during the interview.

HR initiated the process. Then there was an online exam with 50 questions to be completed in 12 minutes. After that, I was expecting a technical round, but it wasn't. The interviewer didn't ask any technical questions at all. The entire interview felt like they were looking for a resource manager, which was confusing given it was supposed to be a technical round. The VP then interviewed me for a long time (over 30 minutes), and the same situation continued. I eventually understood that the role I applied for was filled, and they were interviewing me for a functional role. I'm still confused why no technical questions were asked. Finally, HR informed me the result was negative, stating I had good technical skills. This feedback left me confused, as I don't understand how they judged my technical strength without asking any technical questions. It seems they might not want someone technically strong, despite the interviewers being professional and friendly. Based on my experience, don't expect a technical interview if you're interviewing with Zenoti. They also mentioned a background check and offer stage.

The interview process was split into 5 levels, with eliminations after each one. First, there was the Cast Test, which assessed speed and basic aptitude through quantitative, verbal, and logical questions. Then, a Group Discussion evaluated language fluency, body language, and content. This was followed by a written Versant test to analyze grammar, vocabulary, tone, and language from an organizational standpoint. Finally, there were two Personal Interviews to gauge technical knowledge, understanding of the role, and the ability to perform and adapt to the job environment. The overall process was very well managed, with accurate filtering at each step making the selection smooth and appropriate.
