Digital Asset Manager
it was a 2 part interview process. first was a quick hr/culture fit video call with hr. second was another video interview, this time with 2 people from the production and tech teams.
- How do you analyze and enhance workflows?
User Experience Writer
I chatted with a recruiter first, who was really nice. Then I had a video call with the hiring manager. The hiring manager didn't seem too thrilled about the job or the interview. I never heard back from them, which felt pretty rude. I'm not upset about it though, because I didn't think it was the right fit for me and I've been turned down before! Still, it was a little annoying to just get ghosted, even if it was to say it didn't work out.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Could you describe your responsibilities in your current role?
- What is your role like?
Product Marketing Manager
The initial stage was a typical phone screen. The recruiter asked for my availability, and after I responded, I didn't receive any further communication, even after following up. About three weeks later, they re-engaged, stating the manager was back from vacation and they wished to proceed. The subsequent round involved a discussion with the manager and a presentation of my portfolio, which seemed to go well. When they were scheduling the third round, the meeting invite was not within my given availability. I was informed it was the only time the interviewer had available, and I had to adjust my schedule. However, when I tried to reconfirm the interview, I heard nothing back until the morning of the interview itself. The third round was a conversation with another team member, which was pleasant. Following that, there was a two-week silence, with no response to my follow-up email. Ultimately, I received a rejection email. The overall hiring process lacked responsiveness and consideration for the candidate's time, often involving ghosting or ignoring candidate emails.

Product Manager
Interview process went very well up to the product sense interview. They asked me to redesign their product details page from a new customer's perspective. This is VERY BLATANTLY asking for free work and free ideas from job candidates. I did the interview anyway, but it left a very bad impression. Everyone’s style/tone was extremely nice and friendly ... though they do talk too fast. It's just that the content of their questions was extremely aggressive and borderline inappropriate to ask.
- Can you redesign our product details page from the perspective of a new customer who has worn glasses for a while but has no prior experience buying them online through e-commerce?
