This was a really strange interview. I was excited to get the invite, but then saw it was a panel interview, which I thought would be interesting. I went mostly out of curiosity...and it turned out just as I figured. The whole process seemed unorganized and chaotic, with people fumbling to answer questions and not much clarity about what the job actually entailed. The only thing that was clear was that the workload would be intense. Combined with the lack of diversity I noticed and the bad reviews I saw before, it made my decision easy. I'll pass.

Behavioral Other

First, there was a panel interview with 5 other candidates where we all had to answer questions. Second, there's a three-part task that takes about 3 hours and is due on a Saturday night. The first part involves responding to 7 pages of parent emails. The second part requires reading a 17-page student questionnaire and then editing a college essay. The third part is creating a four-year course plan without any specific context. It feels like doing the actual job for them before even being hired. No info on salary, benefits, or the job itself was provided before the task. We also had to report how long the task took.

Group Other

The first round was a group interview with four other candidates. After that, I was given a long performance task (about 40 pages of reading and three separate deliverables) to complete in about 4 days (two business days and two weekend days). I submitted it, but then they said they weren't moving forward without any explanation. Based on the employees I saw, I suspect I know why (I'm not white). It was a total waste of time, and I wish they'd at least give feedback for a 40-page task.

It was a standard video interview with a pre-recorded video submission, followed by a task where I had to conduct part of a script. The final stage was an in-person interview. They asked basic, standard questions. The script was manageable if you did your homework. Make sure to research the company.
