The interview day was from 9am to 1pm and included 2 interview rounds, a group task, and a numeracy test. The group task involved a brief about when to air a TV ad for a specific makeup product. The overall day was pretty relaxed with breaks, but the early careers team gave unhelpful feedback, saying I was too nervous and didn't know enough about the role compared to others, despite positive comments from team members during the group task.

The interview process was very smooth and quick. The recruiter reached out to me with an invitation to a first-round interview (phone call). Got back to me on the call about moving me forward for a second-round. Both interviews were friendly, just wanted to get a feel for how my background and skills align with the position and if I am a personality fit for the team.

It was much easier than I thought. First, I had a screening phone call with the recruiter where they asked basic interview questions like 'tell me about yourself'. Then, the recruiter got in touch a few days later to set up an interview for the role. The second and final interview was really straightforward. They mainly wanted to see if I'm a normal person and if they'd want to work with me daily.

I had an initial phone screening, and then was invited to an assessment day. This assessment day included several group tasks and one-on-one interviews. They mainly asked generic non-technical questions, focusing more on enthusiasm than on prior skills and experience. The whole process felt like being back in college, and I felt they really missed an opportunity by not considering previous experience, skills, and education. I was very disappointed with their rationale for choosing another candidate, as it lacked any real substance.
