After applying online, I got an email the very next day for a phone interview, which was scheduled for the Friday after Thanksgiving. The recruiter did a quick screening, asked some basic questions, and shared more about the role. The following week, I was invited to a virtual interview. This part involved one-on-one meetings, each about 30 minutes long, with two Customer Ops Supervisors and one Business Unit Director. They were all very conversational and easy to talk to. The questions were pretty similar to the initial screening. I heard back from the recruiter two weeks after the virtual interview, and they let me know they had chosen another candidate, which I felt they could have told me sooner.

The in house recruiter, Lindsey, contacted me via email to set up a phone screen. The phone call provided a good overview of the job. I felt a good vibe from the company. After the phone screening, I had an onsite interview, followed by a second final interview on site a week later. The interviews were tough but I felt comfortable. It was more like a conversation and it made me want to work there more. The whole thing took a few weeks and communication was great.

I applied for the Senior Account Manager job. The recruiter, Justin, contacted me to arrange a phone interview. I suggested a time that worked for me to call him so I could be prepared, and he was understanding about my need to be discreet due to my current job. He was flexible with scheduling both the phone and in-person interviews, accommodating my need to keep my job search confidential. After scheduling the in-person interview, I received an email with all the necessary preparation details, including office location, parking information, dress code, and key things to know beforehand. They did a great job of addressing potential questions in advance. I then had a phone interview with the CEO and subsequently met him in person. Justin was consistently accessible and responsive to my inquiries. I got an offer shortly after the final in-person meeting.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I first connected with Nate, and then the Hiring Director, Justin, joined. I had email exchanges with both of them. After that, Justin conducted a phone interview. He was impressed with what I could bring to Zengistics and invited me to their downtown Austin office. There, I had a more casual meeting with Nate and Justin, which felt less formal and more relaxed. They were ready to hire me then, but due to budget constraints and their upcoming office move to the north side of town, my hiring was put on hold. Justin kept me updated throughout the waiting period about my start date, estimating it for around June. While I was exploring other options and still employed, Justin reached out again before June to schedule another interview to meet with the VP and CEO. I met with Ryan, the VP, and discussed my experience at Luxe. Justin and Ryan then proposed a new role for me in Finance and Accounting, believing I'd be a good fit for their needs there. I agreed to help wherever needed. They sent the paperwork that same week to join Zengistics!
